The New Dawn

*Note*- This was awhile ago, when I just left one of my ex's. I know that poems aren't "manly"..but I don't care and I think its decent, especially for a non-poem writer -





A love that is lost,

but a future to be,

in this perfect morning,

a new life,

is coming to be.



In this new morning,

my pain swept away,

I am a new person,

I'll go my own way.



No looking back,

not at all,

my mind is set,

once and for all.



The decisions made,

it is whats best,

for this new dawn,

I'm up to the test.



This isn't the end,

but the start,

of a new beginning,

my next great day,

among the living.



Not bound to the events of yesterday,

I'll find my new way,

as ever before,

it is a new day,

to go my own way.



No help from you,

all on my own,

this world is bigger,

then ever before.



No regrets,

not a single one,

I am happily free,

To have some fun.
